The egg that broke the internet by earning over 52 million likes just a few weeks ago has come out with yet another surprise. The account has been posting multiple pictures of the egg with more and more cracks. On February 3rd, the world record egg account posted a video that relates to mental health! The ad reads: “Hi, I’m the world record egg. (You may have heard of me.) Recently I’ve started to crack. If you’re struggling too, talk to someone.” The video is a picture of the egg with a little animated talking face.

29-year-old Chris Godfrey, an advertising executive from London, is the genius behind this ad. He was helped by his friends Alissa Khan-Whelan and C.J. Brown. According to the New York Times, the trio, who live in London, spoke to media as the egg featured in a commercial that aired during the Super Bowl on Sunday. Broadcast on Hulu, the ad shows the egg cracking under the pressure of social media fame in an advert for Mental Health America, a non-profit organization based in Virginia “dedicated to addressing the needs of those living with mental illness,” according to its website.
